This is not an ad for the Virgin Diet. I have recently adopted this eating plan with great results, and I want to give credit to JJ Virgin, while sharing my experience.
My reasons for attempting to follow JJ Virgin's plan:
1. To determine if my digestive issues are caused by a food intolerance or allergies.
(I tested negative for Celiac disease but have many of the symptons.)
2. I am also convinced that intake of dairy is not necessary for adult humans.
3. By following the diet I feel much better and have lost 7 pounds in two weeks, my indigestion is much improved, and my dermatitis is clearing up.
How I implement the eating plan.
1. NO prepared or convenience foods.
2. NO fast food.
3. Locally produced grass fed and free range meat and poultry (I shop at Main Street Market in Union Grove WI)
4. Fresh fruits and vegetables and all other food should be locally produced and organic whenever possible.
